Keller Submersible Level Transmitters
eller level transmitters are known for their superior reliability, reasonable cost and ready availability. Most typically deployed as submersible water level sensors, Keller level gauges are also available for use as tank level gauges. They are frequently paired with a compatible display/control system for use as a general purpose water level indicator or as a water level controller. The Keller Levelgage is typically chosen when a medium-accuracy and reliable yet cost-effective water level probe is needed, making it the ideal choice as a well level sensor or tank level gauge. Castello offers a user-friendly way to represent the pressure measurement at the bottom of a tank as the quantity of remaining liquid. At the push of a button, the micro-controller performs the calculations using the information of the tank shape and dimensions and displays the remaining tank content quantity on the clearly legible 5-digit LED display in the desired unit (litres, gallons etc.). The unit is configured using a PC and the easy-to-use software so that the filling level, which determines the pressure, can be converted into an appropriate filling quantity. First the tank shape is selected, then the tank dimensions and the specific gravity of the liquid are entered. It contains the most current tank shapes. The program covers the most common tank shapes, but also enables any shape by entering the parameters into a specified table. The exclusive use of absolute pressure sensors in the Castello system eliminates the use of capillary vented cables with all the problems associated with a gauge pressure measurement. The Series 26 W transmitter utilises the Series 10 piezoresistive capsule, which is housed inside
a submersible 316 L stainless steel body as standard.
For corrosive applications hastelloy diaphragms and other materials are available as options.

These pressure transmitters are designed for level measurements where the highest accuracy is required. Digital Output of Transmitter This Series is based on the stable, piezoresisitive transducer and a micro-processor electronics with integrated 16 bit A/D converter. Temperature dependencies and non-linearities of the sensor are mathematically compensated. With the READ30 software and the KELLER cable K-107, the calculated pressure can be displayed on a Palmtop, Laptop or PC. The READ30 software also allows the recording of pressure signals and the graphic display on the PC. Up to 128 transmitters can be hooked together to a Bus-system.
