Dynisco pressure transmitter Smart Transmitters (HART)

The SPX series is the flagship product of Dynisco’s sensor line and is designed to withstand the rigors of process measurement in the extrusion and polymer processing industries. Multiple analog outputs, including HART™ protocol and several mounting / process connections are also available. The family includes the SPX (2 and 4 series); the high accuracy, algorithm-compensated SPX-L (5-series) with Dynalarity™ and the Temperature Compensated SPX-T (3-Series). Dynisco’s smart transmitters offer processors many benefits, including, accurate pressure measurement up to 0.25% at process temperatures up to 400°C and at pressure ranges of 25 to 30,000 psig. The SPX series has all of the required industry approvals from PTB, CSA and FM. These approvals include Explosion Proof, Intrinsic Safety, ATEX, CE, and others.

The standard SPX2281 is an all welded construction that features a 1/2-14 NPT male thread for installation. Models are available in PSIG, PSIA and PSIS. Optional pressure fittings and electrical terminations are available. The SPX2281E has explosion proof approval for Class 1, Division I, Groups A, B, C & D. The explosion proof model employs a conduit fitting. The SPX2281S is ATEX/Intrinsically Safe approved for II 1 G 100a Eex ia IIC, Zones 0 and 1. The ATEX/Intrinsically Safe models can be supplied with either a conduit fitting or a hermetic 6 pin bendix connector.
