GE General Eastern pressure transmitter PTX 400 – Temperature & Pressure Transmitters

The PTX 400 series of pressure, temperature and combined pressure/temperature transmitters has been specifically designed for long term use in subsea locations. It enables accurate process measurements to be made directly on subsea wellheads and production manifolds. The sensor design is based on API performance requirement PR2 and product specification level PSL3.

The PTX 400 utilises micromachined piezo resistive silicon pressure measuring technology continually developed and proven by GE Druck for 30 years. In addition, precision temperature measurement capability is provided by a fully integrated high performance platinum resistance type sensor.

GE’s propriety and extensively field proven piezo-resistive silicon technology for pressure measurement and PT100 technology for temperature measurement available in single and dual (redundant) configurations. Measuring elements located close to the end of the flush probe design providing dynamic response whilst eliminating blockage potential where waxing or hydrate formation could exist within the process.
